R.I.P. 1992 This guys came from the town with the wonderful Aztec name Nezahualcyotl, including the brothers Arreola. They played already since 1978 together in the YOGUI BAND, and their style was like STATUS QUO and ZZ TOP. In 1981 this band split. With the same members they re-united in 1986, and took the new name R.I.P. Till the release of the first LP there were some changes. The cover of the LP looks like from a Punk band, and who ever did not buy it because of that, can be annoyed, as it contains pure and good Power Metal. A big part of the LP is a mispressing, as it contains at the first side a Rock`n Roll band (this mispressing has 4 songs instead of 5 songs at side 1). The two next albums were only released as cassette. The one from `92 contains still good traditional Metal, but the last one is extreme Thrash, and the singer changed his vocal totally. Meanwhile the band seems really to rest in peace.
