Dies ist eine sehr ungewöhnliche Band für Mexico! Sie spielen weder ultrabrutal, noch symphonisch, wie die meisten Bands im Lande, sondern super rauhen alten 80er Stil! Bei ihnen wird man an alte Teutonic Bands wie TYRANT; VYPER oder VECTOM erinnert, oder an einige der neuen brasilianischen Retro Bands! Basser Victor Rivera gründete 2000 in Mexico City die Band F.O.A.D. und diese spielten wohl mehr im alten VENOM und SLAYER Stil. 2001 steigt bei ihm sein alter Schulkumpel und Drummer Anton Anz ein. Im Jahre 2002 hilft Victor bei der Death Metal Band XIBALBA aus, und von dort steigt bei ihnen der Gitarrist und Sänger Marco River ein. Mit ihm wird die Sache ernster, und sie ändern den Namen in RECKONING, und schlagen mehr die uralte 80er Metal Schiene ein. Die Jungs waren auch in Chicago, und von dort ist das "BBOS" Label interessiert und sie nehmen gleich ein volles Album auf! Mit Songs wie "Blasting bolts of Steel" und "Heavy Metal Holocaust" schiessen sie ein volles Old School Feuerwerk ab, und spielen einen sehr, sehr simplen und rauhen Stil! Sie sind gerade dabei eine neue CD Single aufzunehmen, die demnächst erscheinen soll!

This is a very unusual band for Mexico! They play not ultrabrutal, and neither symphonic, like most of the bands in the country, but in an very raw old 80s style! They remind me a lot of old Teutonic bands like TYRANT; VYPER; VECTOM or some of the new brazilian retro bands! Bass player Victor Rivera founded the band F.O.A.D. in the year 2000 in Mexico City, and they played more in old VENOM and SLAYER style. In 2001 joyned the old school time friend and drummer Anton Anz. In the year 2002 helped Victor in the Death Metal band XIBALBA, and from there the guitar player and singer Marco River joined the band! With him the whole thing became more serious, and they changed the band name to RECKONING, and played more in the old 80s Metal direction! They were visiting Chicago, and the label "BBOS productions" was interested in them and they could record directly an album! With songs like "Blasting bolts of Steel" and "Heavy Metal Holocaust" they start a full old school attack, and play a very, very simple and raw style! They record now a new CD Single which will be released soon!
