MYSTICAL DREAMS entwickelten sich aus der Band X-TRESS, die 2 Alben veröffentlichten ("Entrado al paraiso" 1997, und "Redencion" 1999), und wurden wohl 1996 von Gitarrist Francisco Rodriguez gegründet. Welchen Stil sie dort spielten ist mir unbekannt. Im Jahre 2000 starteten Gitarrist, Bassist und Drummer dann mit MYSTICAL DREAMS, und nahmen gleich das Debüt Album auf. Ihre Musik ist sehr guter progressiver Metal, der aber doch wieder eingängig ist! Basser Guilermo Rivera spielte auch noch gleichzeitig bei ALIOTH und CAMELOT (hier mit dem MYSTICAL DREAMS Drummer)! Sie haben schon überall im Lande und einigen Städten in den USA gespielt. Mit vielen nationalen Bands, und auch international bekannten Namen wie RATA BLANCA und MEDINA AZAHARA haben standen sie auf der Bühne. Auf Compilations, wie den "Luzbel el tributo" und "Lo mejor del Metal Azteca" konnten sie Songs beisteuern. Bei den Aufnahmen zum neuen Album Anfang 2003, verliess sie der Sänger, was die Sache zurückgeworfen hat! Das Ergebniss soll mit traditionellem Metal rein gar nichts mehr zu tun haben!

MYSTICAL DREAMS develloped out of the band X-TRESS, which released 2 albums ("Entrado al paraiso" 1997, and "Redencion" 1999), and were founded in 1996 from guitarist Francisco Rodriguez. Which style they played, I have no idea! In the year 2000 started the guitar and bass players, and the drummer with MYSTICAL DREAMS, and recorded directly the first album. The music is very good progressive Metal, which is also catchy! Bass player Guilermo Rivera was also member at the same time in ALIOTH and CAMELOT (here with the MYSTICAL DREAMS drummer)! They played already all over Mexico, and in some US towns. With many mexican bands they were on stage, but also with internationally known acts like RATA BLANCA and MEDINA AZAHARA! On compilationa like "Luzbel el tributo" and "Lo mejor del Metal Azteca" they participated. In 2003 they recorded a new album with a new singer, and this one is suppose to be totally different and has nothing to do with traditional Metal anymore!
