1985 Metamorphosis LP

Dies ist wieder mal eine von diesen Mexiko Scheiben, die auf der Grenze des ganz belanglosen Hard Rock liegen! Die Jungs von AXIS aber hatten nicht nur total uninteressanten Hard Rock Schmalz zu bieten! Auf ihrer LP befinden sich auch einige recht annehmbare Hard Rock bis Metal Songs! Vor allem der in englisch gesungene Track "Knights of Steel" macht seinem Namen ganz gut Ehre! Wie gesagt ist aber das meiste nicht sehr bewegend, und das Foto mit 5 High School Jungens in "Muttis Lieblings" Tracht sagt eigentlich auch alles! Sie scheinen aus Mexico City gewesen zu sein. 3 von ihnen waren mal wieder Brüder. Die Scheibe kam auf einem kleinen Label heraus, und ist dadurch glaube ich nicht sehr verbreitet!

This is again one of those Mexican records, which are on the edge to really uninteresting Hard Rock! But the boys of AXIS recorded also a few really interesting songs on the border from Hard Rock to Metal! Especially the english sung track "Knights of Steel" lives almost up to his name! There is one other good track in english, and the rest is in spanish with a few more interesting songs! But some others are really weak! The photo shows 5 high school boys in clothes like "mothers finest", which tells you already a lot! 3 of them are again brothers! They seem to have been from Mexico City, and the record was released on a small label there. So I think it is quite rare now, but are not sure!

Este es otra vez uno de esos discos mexicanos que estan al límite del desinteresante Hard Roack! Pero los chicos de AXIS grabaron un par de canciones interesantes en el borde del Hard Rock al Metal! Especialmente la pista en inglés y el resto es en español con un par mas de interesantes canciones! Pero algunas otras son realmente blandas! Las fotos muestran 5 chicos de secundaria en ropas como “finura de madre”, lo cual te dice un montón! 3 de ellos son hermanos! Parece que son de la ciudad de México, y el disco fur lanzado en un sello ahí. Entonces pienso que es algo bastante raro ahora, pero no estoy seguro!
