OPERA sind eine sehr abwechslungsreiche Band, die melodischen und progressiven Metal in allen seinen Facetten spielen! Das ganze klingt sehr professionell, und gar nicht opernhaft! Sie sind aus Sao Paulo, und seit 1994 ist der Name im Umlauf. Es gab aber am Anfang unendlich viele Schwierigkeiten mit Geld, Equipment und Leuten, und so ging es erst anch einigen Jahren richtig los. Sie spielten dan viel in Sao Paulo und Umgebung und in Rio. Nachdem sie dann ihr Album veröffentlicht haben war von ihnen auch nicht mehr viel zu hören. Da die Homepage weg ist, könnte es sein, dass die Band gar nicht mehr existiert!?

OPERA is a very diverse band, which plays melodic and progressive Metal in many different ways! The whole thing sounds very professional and not like an opera! They are from Sao Paulo, and the name is since 1994 in circulation. But there were a lot of problems in the beginning with money euipment and members, so only after some years came a real start! Then tehy played a lot around Sao Paulo and in Rio. After the release of the album was not much to hear, and as the page does not work anymore, it can be that the band does not exist anymore!?

OPERA é uma banda bastante diversificada, que toca Metal progressivo melódico com nuance distintas. O resultado soa muito profissional, e em nada lembra uma ópera. Eles são de São Paulo e o nome está em circulação desde 1994, mas como tiveram muitos problemas com equipamentos, dinheiro e integrantes, somente anos mais tarde a banda realmente estava na ativa. Então Tehy tocou bastante por São Paulo e Rio. Depois do lançamento do álbum não se ouviu muito deles e a página na internet não funciona mais, pode ser que a banda não exista mais!?
