Was für eine grossartige Metal Band habe ich da die ganzen Jahre übersehen!! Nur durch einen Tipp aus der White Metal Szene kam ich auf diese Gotteskrieger (Danke Olaf)! Die beiden Brüder Barni, der Sänger Luis, und der Gitarrist Ruben, haben schon 3 CDs veröffentlicht! Sie spielen darauf richtig hochwertigen, abwechslungsreichen und erinnernswerten Metal! Da Jungs scheinen nur in der christliche Szene Argentiniens aktiv zu sein, und nicht wie BOANERGES und einige andere auch auf anderen Konzerten zu spielen! So konnten mir gleich 3 gute CDs entgehen! Auf den ersten 2 CDs haben sie noch jeweils verschiedene Rhytmus Gitarristen, aber auf der letzten machen sie als Viererband weiter! Diese 4 Mitglieder sind noch die selben wie auf der ersten CD.
Mittlerweile habe ich mich mit Luis Barni geschrieben, und auch ihre Manager getroffen,aber zur Band History haben sie mir auch nicht viel erzählt! Luis Barni ist in seinem Heimatort Jose C. Paz, bei Buenos Aires Pfarrer im "Centro Critiano Senor de Senores", und seit 20 Jahren in der Musik Szene aktiv. Die Band BARNI gibt es wohl seit Anfang der 90er. Zum zweiten Album spielen sie vor 2000 Leuten in Buenos Aires und gehen auf Tour in Uruguay.
Luis hat 2004 eine Accoustic Solo Scheibe herausgebracht. Diese enthält reinen Accoustic Rock, und keinerlei harte Klänge! Dies soll der Abschluss der "Independent" Phase sein, Und dannach soll es mit professionellem Management weitergehen. Keine Ahnung wie sich das musikalisch auswirken wird! Eine Homepage haben sie anscheinend auch immer noch nicht.

What a great Metal band, which I overlooked for many years!! Only after a tip from a friend in the White Metal scene I found out about this warriors of God (thanks Olaf)! The 2 brothers Barni (the singer Luis and the guitarist Ruben) released already 3 CDs! They play on all of them really great, diverse and catchy Metal! The guys seem to be active only in the Christian Metal scene, and not like BOANERGES, to play on other concerts! That is why I did not hear anything about them for a long time! At the first 2 CDs they had different rhytem guitar players, but at the third one they played with just Ruben on guitar! Those 4 members are still the same since the first album.
Meanwhile I have changed some mails with Luis Barni, and met also the Management, but I still did not get much informations about the band history. Luis Barni is a priest in the "Centro Critiano Senor de Senores" in his home town Jose C. Paz, close to Buenos Aires. He is active in the christian music scene since 20 years. The band BARNI seems to exist since the beginning of the 90s. When the second album was released, they played in front of 2000 people in Buenos Aires and went on tour in Uruguay.
Luis made in 2004 an accoustic solo album. This contains only accoustic Rock, and no harder riffs! He made it, to celebrate the ending "independent" time. In the future a professional management will help them. I have no idea how this will influence the style of the music! Seems they still have no Homepage.

Que buena banda metalera que busque por tantos años!! Solo luego de un aviso de un amigo en la escena del Metal Blanco encontré sobre estos guerreros de Dios (gracias Olaf "El guerrero Aleman del dios")! Los 2 hermanos Barni (cantante Luis y guitarrista Ruben) lanzaron 3 CDs! Tocan en todos ellos realmente bien, diverso y atrapante Metal! El tipo parece ser activo solo en la escena de Metal cristiano y no como BOANERGES que toca en otros recitals! Es por eso que no escuche nada de ellos en un largo tiempo! En los 2 primeros CDs tienen diferentes guitarristas ritmicos pero en el 3ero con solo Ruben en la guitarra! Esos 4 miembros son todavía los mismos desde el 1er album.
